Too Long!

Wow it has been such a long time.

So much has changed since beginning of last year...

I couldn't get work in Portland so I moved back to Brisbane where I live with my Fiance till we can get a decent house with his parents.
I have a great job which I just got promoted to Customer Service from Receptionist and it's so awesome.
It's my birthday in less than 2 weeks.
I'm getting married next year to my high school sweetheart and the love of my life (the man that I was told I should never be with back over 3 years ago. Well we've lasted longer than most of the people we know these days)
I got my motorbike licence and now have my very own bike. It's a very sexy bike - electric blue
I get to travel alot next year with my soon to be hubby and our paintball team all over australia for pro tournies. It's gonna rock like a frog in a sock?
I'm losing weight finally.
Life is pretty good at the moment and i'm only looking up :)

I could ramble on all day about how great life is at the moment but unfortunately one of the things about not living with your parents is that there is no one else to clean the house when it's dirty, you have to do your own washing, cooking, cleaning, make your bed, pay rent ... It's so worth it though.

Still looking

Well i'm still unemployed but there are still jobs out there so i'm still lookin ...

No new pics yet but we're heading out with the church on saturday to the beach and joel and i get to learn how to surf =) ... finally. So i'll take lots of pics and tell u all about it ... and the weekend after we're headin back out to the beach to go camping so i'll take more pics then and post them up with next weekends lot ...

Dad's birthday on wednesday ... big 50! we're getting a big cake and taking it out to work for him to have with all his work colleagues ... no one knows it's his birthday so it'll be really great ... then that night we're havin a big bbq with dad's boss' and families ... so it'll be a really great day =)

cold yet sunny??

Hello all yes i have pictures ... YAY!!!

This is a pic of the closest actual beach that people can go to near town however to get down there you need to either walk or have a 4x4 ... it's really pretty though.

My bro and i went for a drive the day after i got my car just to get a few pics ... it's cool. I love it here cuz it's so peaceful and serene. It's not polluted with people like u get at the Gold Coast. Although it is freezing ... well it is at the moment anyways.

Yesterday we decided to go out to i think it's cape bridgewater. They have a really beautiful swimming beach as u can see in the pic and they have a seal colony further round the beach but u can't get to it cuz it's protected but they have a platform where u can see the seals but it's a really long walk so we didn't go there ... we went to the petrified forest instead ... it sounds funny but it's not really that exciting.

It was really windy yesterday so i got some really good photos from off the cliff ... it was really cold too so i was rugged up nice and warm while we were walking around.

so this is the petrified forest ... and below is the sign they have to describe wat they are and how they are formed ... i'd have read it and described it to u myself but that would have required too much effort and i'm still being lazy cuz i don't have a job yet =)

the day was goin pretty well with all the beautiful ocean views and realising how close we were to being able to see seals ... even though i saw one the other day in town when i picked mum and dad up one night when they went for a walk and it started to rain and it was only about 3 or so metres away from me =) it was so cool ... we decided it was time to head home but we were goin to drive the long way and go past the smelter and check out the ganet colonies that they have (yes there is actually alot to see in my small town).

just so u know i had to go put my slippers on cuz i'm getting really cold.

this is only a part of the ganet colonies ... there is an island that i didn't take a pic of that is totally covered in these huge birds. It's so cool.

Well we stayed and had a look at the birds for a little while then we decided to leave ... and dad has a 4x4 ... and there was a big puddle ... i don't think i really need to say anymore ... all those who know my dad would know exactly what happened next ...

Yup ... u guessed right ... it was Australia day and dad decided to get us bogged in a puddle ... and he had to call someone from work who had another 4x4 to come and get us out ... BRAVO DAD!

Actually it turned out to be really fun ... u can see how dirty my bro got ... we both got out to see if we could push it out but that didn't work then we tried getting wood and putting that under the wheels but that didn't work either then it started to rain so we got into the tray to stay dry and not to dirty the inside of the car ... yeah ... it was interesting to say the least.

today we drove an hour to the next bigger town just so we could have MACCAS cuz we don't have one here ... we have KFC but i don't like their burgers cuz the mayo is really gross. Next weekend we're heading over the border to Mt Gambier in SA ... yay more maccas =)

Well it's time for me to sign out and get ready for dinner ... and possibly unpack some more boxes.

GONE!!

Well i'm finally here ... in Portland Victoria and it's weird here. It's only a small country town with little to do ... there is no Maccas and KFC down here isn't all that nice so expect me to be really thin when i see you all next. We have a really nice big house here. The kitchen is all pretty much new and there is a big bbq outside on the back deck undercover with a bench on both sides and a sink. We're in water retrictions here too so i can't go back to my half hour showers but i'll live. Mum has been working all week but i still don't have a job mainly cuz i have only been here for 3 days so i haven't started looking.

My car arrived today so i got to go around town a bit ... not that there is much to go around ... there are 2 traffic lights here ... just to give u an idea on how small it is.

Well i have to go make my room presentable cuz our house is on the market and we have people walking through to check it out in about 3 hours. I know we've only been here a few days and we'll be here all year but they still want to sell it ... all those who look at buying it will be aware of the contract we have untill the end of the year so it's all good.

I'll look at posting up some pictures when i get time to go take some which shouldn't be too long.

Personalised Plates

Well i'm in a bit of a situation ... i'm getting personalised plates for my b'day and we can't seem to figure wat i should get so i need your help ... tell me some really cool ideas on wat my plate should be and if i happen to choose someone's idea i'll give u a big block of chocolate ... sound fair?? good ... thought so. My current idea is 180ym but the only problem with that is what happens after the end of either one80 or if i move away ... hmmm tough one ... THAT'S Y I NEED U!!!

plates have to be either 3 letters and 2 numbers or 2 letters and 3 numbers ... eg.

180YM or HOT01 ... stuff like that ... u get the picture ...

new plans

well i've had to change my birthday plans due to the fact that the paintball place i was planning on goin to has closed down and is moving to the UK ... apparently there was not much of a need for an indoor paintball field when outside is so ... fine??? I NEED IT INDOORS !!!!!! oh well i guess u get that ...

I'm goin to dreamworld instead ... i've noticed they're building new rides and i recon they'll be finished by december so that's cool .... only problem now is all those goin to the One80 camp won't be able to join me as it's the same weekend ... GOSH!!! it really sucks cuz i was looking forward to the camp but i have a pretty busy weekend that weekend and unfortunately i'm unable to go =(
so sad ... but i get to dress up all pretty like and graduate from bible school and turn 20 at dreamworld and dress up again for my work xmas party and graduate again from bible school in front of the whole church in a proper gown and stuff so it's not all bad ... it's just not the One80 camp ... i'll be back next year for it though don't u worry .... mwahahahahahahahahhahahaha

it's like almost the last term of One80 already ... it's gone so quickly this year ... which really sucks ... although some good things have come of it ...

we worked out i can't drive to melbourne ... my car will blow up so we're catchin the train instead ... should be an interesting experience ... however i plan on driving up sometime next year anyways ... i recon my car will make it ... i know it will ... my car loves me ... and i love my car ... still have to get a bass speaker for it though ... should do that soon ... after i've saved a bit more money though ....

who else finds it hard to save money ... it's like almost impossible ... i say almost cuz i can do it ... i just find it hard that's all ... there is just so much that i do that requires money ... like living ... i pay rent and car payments and now gym payments ... which reminds me i should go to the gym to at least get my money's worth ... i'll have to drag someone to the gym with me ... hmmmm ...

well i think this post is big enough ... could be bigger though ... i do have alot to talk about ... but i'll leave all that for another day ...

something funny though ... my dad lost his licence (that's not the funny part) and he's talking about hiring me as his personal driver to get him around while he's not at work (that's the funny part) ... could be fun ... although it requires moving to portland in like a month or 2 but he'd better pay good ... i have car payments to make ...

organising my birthday

all those who are over 15 and want an experience of a lifetime ... i'm making a day of paintball for my 20th birthday on 2 december this year ... i'm not too sure how much it's gonna cost cuz i'm working a discount with the owners of the place cuz i know them and helped them out at their last tournament so i'll get back to u on that ... the place is VELOCITY PAINTBALL and it's not too far from VACC ... only just down the rd in fact.

So if ur interested in making a day of it let me know cuz more than likely the more people i have the less it will cost ... equippment and everything will be provided ... they have full padded suits so it won't hurt that much and they have guns goggles and everything else there ... i know the guys who will be taking the session aswell so it should be heaps and heaps of fun ...

i know december is ages away but like i said ... i want to get all the costs sorted out and make a booking asap to organise it all ...

let me know guys ... it'll be great =)
